Happy Monday, followers! It has been a while since the last post so we are looking forward to catching you up on all of the frugal escapades over the weekend.
Friday night we decided to utilize one of those Christmas gift cards that was beginning to collect dust. The gift card was for Mitchell’s Tavern on Center Ridge Road just west of Clague Road in Westlake, OH. Although Mitchell’s is known for their summer nights and back patio volleyball, we decided to stumble in on the teeth-chattering Cleveland winter night. We proceeded into the crowded dining area and were lucky enough to find a table for two! With 2 dollar domestics and $6.50 for a dozen delicious teriyaki wings we still have some balance left over on that gift card for another night out!
Saturday night we went to a great local fundraiser that was put on by a company called “Fund Racing”. What this company does is televise pre-recorded horse races where all of the attendees can bet on the horses who are also sponsored by the attendees, needless to say there were some pretty comedic names. To bet on the horses was only $2 and the pot is split with half going to charity and half going to those who bet on the winning horse! This was a fun and frugal way to spend a night out as well as support a great cause. Looking at your city or library website is an easy way to find free events that are going on in your community. Did anyone else find any ways to save this weekend?

Have a great start to the week! We will be posting about free/inexpensive workout routines as well as DIY decorating projects and fun finds for the home later in the week, so please stop back!
Tonight at 11 one of the local news stations is doing a piece about inexpensive gifts for Valentines Day. It looks like a must watch. Not much of a point for me to watch since I scare away all my significant others away with my frugal habits. The last girl I was seeing did not like fact that I flush my toliets with shower water.
OMG please let it by March already
